Now given the official apprentice name of Boarpaw and training under Owltalon, Boarpaw has been having a blast playing with other apprentices and training with Owl to get as strong as possible! During a nice marshy morning, Boarpaw, Basilpaw, and Ravenpaw got to have a training session with Owltalon.In this exercise, the kittens learned the valuable lesson of using speed against larger opponents, although Boarpaw only screamed a battle cry and then slid on mud.
Boarpaw gained the friendship of Basilpaw and Ravenpaw, the three little mollies spent a lovely evening catching frogs for mayhem. Once enough dead frogs were gathered, the shecats waiting to ambush a RiverClan cat for dominance. In waiting, the cats stumbled into the moor and watched the stars, something that's hard to see in the marsh. The girls shared their happiness of being in the marshes and then fell asleep. When they awoke, they learned that Ravenpaw had her own adventure of actually finding and ambushing a RiverClan cat with frogs, which apparently the tom liked as a snack.
9 Basilpaw had gone missing, and ShadowClan cats expect her to be in the moor. Joining on the search patrol, n Boarpaw comes across a very tense WindClan group. Boar is prepared to fight with her clanmates, until she spots a familiar face in the crowd. Kestrelfall, her long lost mother, was now WindClan deputy. The shekit was happily exclaiming joy for this news, but Kestrel accused Galestar of stealing her from their nest all those moons ago. Before Boar knew it a battle had started between the cats, and Gale and Kestrel were at each other's throats. The kitten attempted to plead at them to stop, but both cats continued. Gale instructed her to go help Ravenpaw, and Boarpaw followed his directions. Her terror of the situation only increased as she found the WindClan apprentice, Goosepaw, had bitten off half of Ravenpaw's tail. Screeching with rage, Boarpaw attacked Goosepaw, but both kits stopped when they realized that Kestrelfall had almost pushed Galestar into the gorge, and the tom was struggling to get out. Soon it was too late, and the tom fell to his watery death. Boarpaw, terrified of what her mother had done to her idol, renounced any ties with her. She was no longer a daughter of Kestrel, she was a full blooded ShadowClan cat.
10-11 Boarpaw, after losing Galestar (and soon Owltalon after that to WindClan), stayed holed up in her den with the other apprentices. Paranoia gripped her chest as it felt as if ShadowClan was falling apart, and the shecat closed herself off for days to weeks, barely eating or conversing with others. Her training fell to the wayside from her mentor gone, and she stayed in this state until Galestar and Owltalon returned.
Now taking any free time to train, Boarpaw was able to have a fun training session with Galestar. While she was used to using teeth and claws during a usual training session, Galestar scolded Boarpaw of using such tactics and injuring his paw. Boarpaw was secretly pretty proud of her accomplishment, but learned from Galestar and stopped using her real strength when training and to think before jumping into battle.
