While we use proboards as an informational center, you should note we hold actual roleplay on discord. Things are quite simple. To find a roleplay partner, head to our channel labeled RP-partner-seeking where you may find other people open to roleplaying. Describe your character, their clan, and where you may want to roleplay, then decide who will post first.
You should always ask before joining a roleplay session. While we aim to be open and inclusive, people are also allowed to develop characters one on one. You may @ the participants in the RP seeking channel and request to join. If they decline, chances are very likely another user will offer themselves up for roleplay!
However, if you are actively declining roleplay with others and only roleplaying with the same one or two people, staff may urge you to welcome more people into your session. Wanting private development is fine, but actively doing so makes the roleplay seem non-inclusive, which is not something we want!
Remember to not engage in massive plot changing scenarios without moderator permission. Feel free to ask them about it in the ask-staff channel. Plot changing scenarios include other animal attacks, border intrusions, and in general, bloodied fights.
Do use post order when roleplaying- simply an established order of who goes when. This can be established after everyone who wanted to join goes once, then base the order on all the previous posters. @ the next user in the order after you've posted to help maintain it.
And lastly, when done with a session, be sure to send a message like "RP SESSION CLOSED, ROOM OPEN"
If someone takes more than six days to reply, staff reserve the right to close a session.
To summarize:
Utilize the RP partner seeking channel, ask before joining a session, try to be inclusive when you can but occasional one on ones or selective sessions are okay, don't change the plot when RPing, try to establish an organized order, and remember to state when the session is closed.
