Warriors fandom wikia used plus our own staff discussed revisions. BT Revisions will be colored this color, and you may not copy them.
- Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
- Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory unless intending to directly approach the clan asking for passage.
- Elders, queens, tenders, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
- Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
- A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
- Warriors may train up to two apprentices at once.
- Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
- The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires, or is exiled. A deputy becoming a leader must travel to visit the Enlightened and be gifted their nine lives.
- In the unlikely event that both a deputy and leader die, then the Medicine cat will be acting leader until they may visit the moon pool and call upon the order to elect a new leader. The new leader will receive their lives and select a new deputy. The medicine cat may not become leader as it affects their path to the Enlightened.
- After the death, retirement, promotion (to a leader status), or exile of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen by the Order of the Enlightened/StarClan at the next Moon Circle gathering, speaking directly to the clan's medicine cat to elect the new deputy. The leader will be more present until the next gathering, since there is no acting deputy, or they may ask the medicine cat to serve as a temporary deputy with their apprentice as temporary medicine cat.
- If both a deputy and leader pass, a medicine cat shall serve as leader until the next Moon Circle gathering where a new deputy and leader can be elected.
- A Gathering of the Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
- Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
- No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
- The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
- A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
- Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect their future. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.
- Each cat has the opportunity to serve their clan as a warrior, and cannot be forced from their rank. A cat is aware of their own strength and may be the judge of it, and only they can retire to a dweller or elder rank.
- No living cat is to enter the deep chambers of the Enlightened when bringing them a prey offering, seeking guidance, or getting their nine lives, unless this cat has been given a vision and chosen to serve in the circle.
- A cat who has a notable vision must immediately go to the leader and medicine cats. The medicine cats will speak with the Enlightened through a dream come their next gathering at the Moon Circle, to discuss if this vision means the cat is to join them. If the Enlightened confirm this vision was intentional, this cat, no matter their age or status in the clan, must leave the clan and make the journey to join the circle of the Enlightened.
- All medicine cats will retire to serve the Enlightened when their apprentice is ready to be fully ranked and receive their name. Medicine cats may have litters and mates, though must keep in mind their ultimate duty to the Enlightened.
- A medicine cat's apprentice, similar to the deputy, is also chosen during the moon gathering by the Order/StarClan.
- Either clan must collect the largest or best prey they can each season to bring to the Enlightened to help them thrive in their mountain. There may be prey, but often not enough for all, these offerings remind the Enlightened that we serve them as they serve us. Each clan must pick an apprentice and two warriors each season to bring these offerings. The two warriors and apprentice may rest for a day or two in the mountain before descending back down to their clan.
- A non-believer of StarClan is not a true clan cat. Your lack of faith can affect the ways of the Enlightened, and must be kept to yourself.
WILLOWCLAN SPECIFIC CODES
- A true warrior always avoids taking the life of another. If a cat is killed, just or unjust, the warrior shall be sent into exile. It is not WillowClan way to be in charge of who meets StarClan and when.
- WillowClan is open to all cats of all backgrounds except that of exiles of BoarClan. Adults who join the clan will undergo only a moon of training before they may make the choice to receive a warrior name or keep their old name.
BOARCLAN SPECIFIC CODES
- One who takes the life of another cat shall answer to the leader, who will deem the killing just or unjust. If the leader takes one's life, they answer to the Medicine cat and Deputy.
- A queen has the right to request her kits be made apprentices earlier. This is only a semi-common occurrence, and only up to the queen. The kits must be eating meat before receiving a mentor.
- Kittypet blood is to be avoided unless the clan is in dire need of outsider blood or the kittypet blood belongs to that of a helpless kit in need. Mating with kittypets or bringing them back without proper reasoning or permission from the leader may result in at least a temporary exile. Kittypets who are taken into the clan will be treated as a young apprentice regardless of age or experience. Kittypets who are taken into the clan will receive a proper warrior name and completely revoke their old life and name.
- A BoarClan cat who refuses the Rite of the Boar shall be exiled, for they are not a true BoarClanner. A true BoarClanner faces StarClan on their own terms.
- Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
