| FAMILY— HOLLOWMOON: dovepaw’s mom. STORMBOUNCE: dovepaw’s dad. HAWKPAW: dovepaw’s brother. JAYPAW: dovepaw’s sibling. FINCHPAW: dovepaw’s sibling. | PERSONALITY — dovepaw isn't considered particularly sharp by those around her, including herself. she's accident prone, naive, takes things very literally, and seems to lack the grace that makes a willowclan cat. this much is especially apparent when compared to hawkpaw's louder, bolder personality. she knows he wants a big destiny, and that their mother expects great things from them, but it's something dovepaw can't do. to commpensate for her perceived lack of worth otherwise, dovepaw devotes herself to others wholely. she wants everyone to be happy, and wants to be everyone's very best, nicest friend. she thinks having better, cooler friends will fix her shortcomings, and she doens't function well on her own, when she becomes indecisive and nervous. she's labeled herself as A Good Person, and failing to be The Bestest Friend makes her freak out. it's all she's good at, after all. of course, this way of going about things combined with dovepaw's short-sightedness sometimes makes her annoying and nosey. due to her low self-esteem, and her dad leaving early in her life, dovepaw is also clingy, and has people pleasing tendencies, in order to keep her friends around. she's got no back bone. she wants to make the world a nicer place, ultimately, and is always well-intentioned, but this leads to her being naive, and easily manipulated. like hawkpaw, she doesn't understand that other cats can be cruel or truly bad. tl;dr: ditzy best friend that's filled with love but no self esteem and also no braincells. THRIVES off of validation, and hates being alone. sprinkle of abandonement issues |
BIOGRAPHY — hollowmoon was young, very young, when she became pregnant. willowclan's eyes were on her as she gave birth to dovepaw's litter, and it seems liek hollowmoon still feels like theyre looking at her. thought not too obvious about it, hollowmoon expects great things from her kits; big things that dovekit was never able to deliver. she's pepetually uncoordinated, flighty, and easily distracted. she always paled in comparison to everyone else, especially hawkpaw. dovekit has never been the best at anything, so instead, she follows her cooler brother like a shadow. despite how much better everyone thinks of hawkpaw, he and dovepaw are very close. this early habit of dependance made dovepaw seek out better, cooler friends to latch onto and hinge her entire self-worthh on. she might not be talented, but she can be a good friend, and a good person. the best friend and the best person, in fact. maybe this way, hollowmoon will find something to be proud of dovepaw for.
