Here is basic information to help you choose a clan.

BoarClan is believed to be descendants of a family of maine coons, or some other large breed of cat, some even theorizing bobcats. They are usually brawny and large cats with fur they can't bother to groom. They enjoy the art of battle and are skilled in doing so. They believe in speaking up for what they think is right, even if they stand alone. BoarClan is incredibly stubborn, and often impulsive, which can lead them to get into scraps with loners and WillowClanners. Boar cats tend to have a distaste for outsiders and kittypets, forcing them to go through longer and more tedious training than their sister clan may do. This is because many years ago the group had troubles with outsider rogues that harmed their clan, and the scars from that happening remain fresh to this day. Their main means of bringing in outsider blood is taking in kits from the farm, but a determined kittypet may still make it into their ranks well enough.
BoarClan's special tradition is a night of brawling and sparring. They are also nicknamed the Splitears, because new warriors get a hole bit into their ear during their ceremony by their leader. Deputies get a second hole in their ear, and leaders have three!
BoarClan dwells in a mountainous, deeply wooded territory that looms over the fields of WillowClan.
One final thing to note is BoarClanners tend to grow up larger because they have more access to prey, however their life spans are shorter because they have less access to herbs. There are around 30% less BoarClanners than there are WillowClanners.
WillowClan is believed to descend from farm cats. They are silver-spoken, lithe and small cats, who move through their tall grass territory with a graceful ease. They are a bit snooty and look down on BoarClan, at least in terms of how wild they believe BoarClan behaves. WillowClan keeps their pelt shiny and clean, and try to keep to themselves. They believe their sister clan to be bad neighbors, often kept awake by sparring BoarClanners late into the night.
WillowClan, having no poor experiences with outsiders thus far, are very welcoming and give basic training to kittypets and loners before quickly ranking them. Because of how open they are, they are a larger clan than BoarClan, and less elusive; two legs often see them, and sometimes even capture them. Unfortunately for two legs, WillowClanners are extremely clever and are great at getting themselves out of troublesome situations.
WillowClanners believe a cat should be smooth with words, civil even, which is why they tend to look down at BoarClan, who runs wild among the deep forest. WillowClanners do not respond well to getting dirty or being insulted in any way about their physical appearance. Then again, most don't!
WillowClan's special tradition is a night of story telling and tall tales; any cat may tell a story. They are also nicknamed the Halfwhiskers, as new warriors get two whiskers plucked from the left side of their face during their ceremony. Deputies lose two more, and leaders lose two more on top of that; some whiskers grow back, but only half way.
Their territory is a two leg inhabited field land with patches of forest and little ponds.
WillowClanners are smaller than BoarClanners because they grow up eating half as much prey, but they live longer due to the fact they have more herbs to heal and maintain their elders.
